School starts this week (those pictures will be NEXT week) and we had one last little adventure before the summer ended. The girls and I went to visit my parents in PA and went to Linvilla Orchards to go picking for peaches, apples, strawberries, etc. We were racing against the weather to pick as much as we could before the rain started and we really didn’t get very far – a few peaches, a pint of strawberries and two ears of corn. But we had such a fun time and the girls never complained once about the rain. They ran along in their raincoats and boots excited to find stuff to pick. I love seeing my girls connect with nature and see where their food comes from!
