So I think I might have broken the rules of our little blog circle this week. Just a little bit, nothing major. The theory behind “To the Moon and Back” is to capture our children as they are – wild, beautiful, natural, moody, etc. We talked about NOT doing styled shoots were are kids might be posed or out of their element. Well, I got a new toy and just couldn’t help it this week. I ran up to our school grounds around 7pm and shot these photos of the girls reading in my teepee from Sugar Shacks Teepees. (If you are looking for an awesome, lightweight, versatile photo prop, I recommend it!)
Anyway, even though they are wearing “fancy” Matilda Jane dresses and are in a teepee, I still think these photos capture them perfectly. Their individuality and their personalities. So, forgive me this tiny indiscretion in the name of art!
Now head over and see what Fort Collins photographer Julie Livermore’s boys are doing over on her blog!
JulieThese are amazing!
