Last weekend I took my friend Kim (who was visiting from Texas) into Washington, D.C.. Naturally, since we’re both photographers, we took our cameras. We walked around the monuments and memorials and had a great time. Here are a few of my favorite shots.
A rose left on the Vietnam Wall memorial.
A woman found her cousin’s name on the wall and a volunteer did a rubbing. It was an incredible moment.
I snapped this at the Lincoln Memorial. That little smile was too cute and she looks just like her daddy.
On the way back to our car we came across this wonderful little wedding and the photographer asked if I wouldn’t mind taking a few shots from a different angle. Don’t mind if I do!
I have no idea what this guy’s deal is. He was outside the Lincoln Memorial. Draw your own conclusions.
Kim TorresI love all of these! I can’t wait to get to mine! <3 Thanks again for the awesome trip!
