My four-year-old came downstairs today and said, “Mommy, I put on my Wonder Woman costume and I want you to take pictures of me flying.” It was the sweetest thing. So we went up to her room where we get some great afternoon light and I just let her have at it. She jumped. She flew. She fell. She laughed. She filled my heart.
Sometimes I get so caught up in “being a photographer” that I forget my best subjects are right in front of me. Every once in a while, I need to remind myself why I do what I do: because I love it. Today, I rekindled that love and became reacquainted with the rush I get from from simply snapping the shutter.
What will inspire YOU today?
